Southside Skatepark started much like any skatepark in 1994, small unaware of the exponetial growth that skateboarding was about to experience. Skateboarding was coming out of a four year slump and was finally beginning to gets it's legs back under itself and begin to roll again. Through hard work a perseverance, Southside Skatepark managed to stay in business and stay true to skateboarding's core for the last 15 years. We are proud to make it to this amazing milestone and thankful to have met Jaymeer and have him come out to our skatepark to help us comemorate this occasion. Jaymeer is Portland Oregon's Burnside skatepark's offical artist. He is one of the only people to be able to put up interesting murals at Burnside with Red Scott's approval.
