This is the final version of my second animatic for ANI425 Visual Storytelling at DePaul University taken during the Winter Quarter of 2012. I went superhero since that's a genre I'm interested in.

The assignment was to choose any 25-30 second clip of music that inspires a visual scene. The first part of this assignment was a rough cut of about 15 beat boards. After class critiques from classmates and professor Devin Bell I added a few more boards, deleted some and shuffled others to add clarity to the story. I also tweaked the timing of each board to make the story flow better.

The music clip is from the song "Streetwave" from the Brothers Johnson's 1978 album Blam! It is used for educational purposes only. This song does not belong to me, Martin Lindsey, and I am making no attempt to profit from the work of the original musical artists.
