I have created 10 short phrases of movement using a combination of postures that begin on all fours. The nature of these phrases is fluid, and the fluidity is attained through the breath. The sound you hear is simply my breathing with the application of the throat to slow the pace (called Ujayii in Sanskrit). All of these Cat Series are very beneficial in warming up the spine, and developing shoulder and core strength.

Physical excellence in Yoga is not found without some attention to detail. However, the essence of moving through a dance of postures goes beyond the details of each pose into a realm of expression rich in texture and flow. Once you learn a posture sequence, then give up acquiring technique and simply feel your Ujayii breath moving the energy in ripples and waves.
