A big yes in my opinion. The Pete Rose card is a great card considering his not having any memorabilia cards up to this point. The Mario/Clemente piece is sweet. The Hulk Hogan would likely do well on the secondary market. Plus, many of those cards are going to be limited to only 10 each (I think the Gold are /10)

Oh, and the Wooden. That's a great card also.

Sorry Guys but this is a no for me. Only the Mario Lemieux duo, the Mattingly - Hogan - Magic Johnson tri-patch and the Thomas - White - Young - Aikman quad patch were tongue-droppingly pant-worthy. Definitely a $175-$200 price tag would be more inline with the relative break value. The base cards look sadly reminicent of the outlasted used gum flavor of the 07 Goudey baseball set - a reminder of how a bland return to glory days can be botched. Methinks a bit more punch-up across the board is due - more hall of famers, Stanley Cup winners, NBA champs, and Super Bowl winners can spice up the luck of the draw.
