Lens test 400mm
Just a quick test of the Jag35Pro adapter with the Canon 400mm L on it. Even when using a tripod its hard to keep still when doing the manual fokus.
On this test the light was not that good. Grey and rainy.

If you add an extender and use a solid tripod, I think you would have a nice setup for bird watching...
Knowing the price of that lens, I would hold on to it at all times.
The HG21 looks pretty silly just hanging there :)
I hope the the camera's thread hold out!
It looks like fun.

I have the 1.4 and 2.0 converter and maybe i will betrying them in may when my family and I have a small vacation here ind Denmark (Munkebo). The 400 brings bread on the table :-) So yes i take really good care of it in any way. Its my most importent tool. You will need a spcial dog to find the lens at my home and if you do find it you will need an antitankgun to get it ;-) In fact its not always here at my house :-)
Actually i dont think its that expensive. Some of my friends have home cinema systems that cost way more. And that is just for fun. So...
The thread is just fine. Its the tripod holding the weight. The thread only holds the HG21 weight wich is not much.
The tripod is fine for videorecording but not stable with the big 400 :-)
Have a nice day!
For the price of it you could have afforded a whole bunch of Brevi's and Letus though ?? ;-) Though the result with the Jag35pro is already quite nice.
