    why would you shoot 24p if you have 30p?

    Hmmmm I don't think you can shoot at 30p with the V1U (I may be wrong) I have the HC1 and is basically the same camera and it does not do 30p. It is already at least three years old.

    i have and love the HC1. It is small, light, and 60i. The V1U is a semi-professional camera that shoots at 24p, 30p and 60i. The two cameras are totally different.
