This vignette showcases adaptive cycling from our 2011 Adaptive Sports Expo.
Adaptive cycling is truly a multi-disability sport with many adaptations. The hand-cycle (shown in this video) is one of the most widely practiced forms of adaptive cycling because it enables riders with a lower-limb mobility impairment (spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy (CP), and multiple sclerosis (MS)) to propel a 3-wheeled cycle using their arms.
