This is a free TUIO server (and a bit more) for iPhone & iPod Touch. Currently Apple have rejected this app because they have "determined that this application contains minimal user functionality and will not be appropriate for the App Store."

I'd like to collect as many comments as possible to show Apple that this is not as small a market as they think. If you think a free TUIO server for iPhone/iPod touch would be useful please leave a comment at memo.tv/msaremote_for_iphone (even if it is a simple anonymous '+1').

Is it possible to use it with Flash and AS3 using sockets?

Hey, yea you can, but since it sends UDP and flash can't receive UDP you'll need a middle man that converts UDP to TCP. There are loads of free applications about (e.g. flosc, flosc2, oscar), these send the data formatted as XML, so you can parse the data in flash using XMLConnector - or if you are interested in using TUIO you can use the Flash touchapi from NUIGroup which will work with MSARemote + flosc/oscar out of the box. Interestingly just a few days ago I wrote a UDP to TCP binary bridge. An app that forwards any incoming UDP data straight to TCP. Then you can receive the data in flash using the flash.net.Socket.
