Naheed's Story

Consensual same-sex acts between adults in Iran are illegal, and the maximum sentence for a conviction is death. Many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) Iranians flee to Turkey for safety, even though they face violence there and little protection or support.

This is Naheed's story.
