The Coral Restoration Foundation is the first to "farm" corals in underwater nurseries. The intent is to plant corals from the nursery onto reefs where these staghorn and elkhorn species once flourished. In this video CRF Founder Ken Nedimyer credits the aquarium hobby for much of the Foundation's success.
