The Lunar Chinese New Year is the most important traditional festival and celebration normally takes place in late January or early February.
A-Ma Temple, situated on the southwest tip of the Macau Peninsula, is one of the oldest and most famous Taoist temples in Macau. Built in 1488.
Macau are full to bursting at Chinese New Year as locals ply their favourite deities with goodies and gifts in the hope of buying some good luck in the New Year.
