In 1996 – while filming the "Graphic Times" graffiti documentary in the Bay Area – I had the opportunity to sit down with Eskae, a graffiti art prodigy with Oakland's A.S. crew and university student at the CCAC.
The setting of the interview was an old farm house in Napa valley where the owner (Diane) had commissioned Eskae and Crayone to canvas the entire building with custom pieces prior to demolition.
In the 16 years that have passed since these recordings, Ezra's work has been published in Wired, Print, and GQ magazine. His work has been shown and collected globally. He has doubled his creative output by producing music in addition to visual art. ezrali.com/
