Surveillance is a 16mm black and white MOS film I made for the 310 production class at the University of Southern California in the fall of 1981. MOS means that the film was shot with out sync sound at the time of filming. So all the sound was recorded and added in separately during the edit. I can't remember which film stock we shot with, it was probably Kodak PlusX. The 310 class was the second production class for SC film school students then, we made two films in that 15 week class. Although in our section the second film was actually a black and white video, also without sync dialogue.
