In order to eliminate flicker in time-lapses caused by the aperture resetting between exposures, I’ve modified a few older used Nikon Series E lenses. This video shows removing the aperture tab on a 135mm lens. Each lens is slightly different inside, so consider this more a theory video than a how-to for any specific lens. It’s straightforward enough if you’re pretty handy.

IMPORTANT: Modifying lenses like this is an at your own risk sort of activity. Only do it to lenses you can affort to destroy, such as inexpensive used lenses. And only do it if you're handy with tools and are up for being adventurous. The way I do it here might not be the best way. Furthermore, if you decide to do it, you're on your own. Cool? Cool.
