The texture on the slug's skin . . . WOW! I also enjoyed the millipede even though he only had a "walk-on" AND the uncredited extra critters . . .

Man I love this stuff. I'm feeling inspired!

Is that all in real time? I didn't think they could move that fast.

Nice! What did you shoot with? Great composition. Absolutely beautiful images. One thing I don't get... Does the slug get the girl in the end!?

Excellent work. I was curious as to what your shooting ratio was? It seems so mesmerizing that it'd be hard to turn off the camera!

Actually with all of these backyard shorts I have been given limits to the amount of time I can spend shooting them, mainly because I have a 5 year old who's attention span is so short. He loves to help, and it was a project for him and I to do together. It's very quick setups mainly just running around the backyard with the camera and a mini tripod, find a bug/slug/ant point and shoot.

Very awe inspiring! It's nice to see how beautiful it looks on a big screen. I love the way you let the action happen going in and out of the frame. Very entertaining. Here's one of my attempts to the Macro world:
