Twenty years earlier, Captain David MacMichael resigned his post as a CIA analyst. Both were disgusted that the use of 'intelligence' was being misused to skew foreign policy. Zach Choat threw down some of the purple hearts earned in the Army's most deployed unit, the Mountain Division in Iraq. Elaine Brower's son deployed 3 times to Afghanistan during 10 years of service. For "Tip of the Spear" he was in the 15th Expeditionary Unit.
