Space Shuttle Launch - March 15, 2009 - Canon 5D Mark 2 Sample Footage
9 months ago
Due to the shuttle launch being rescheduled, I was able to go and see it while on other shoots in Florida. If I knew I could have seen the launch, I would have brought my Canon 400mm IS with a x2 attachment. All I had was my Canon 70-200 2.8L IS with a x1.4 attachment, which I normally have in my camera bag.
What a beautiful launch! It was my first time seeing the shuttle go up and I hear it may be the last night launch for the space shuttle ever. Glad I could be there while history was being made.

8 months ago I remember seeing this launch from my house in Orlando. It was so amazing when the shuttle got high enough and the light from the sunset was only on 1/2 of the smoke trail which you can see at the end of your video. -

8 months ago youre right. The sun and the spotlight for Nasa lit it up at the end I believe. I posted photos on my blog you can check out: douglassonders.wordpress.com/2009/03/17/607/
