HMCS Victoria transits in vicinity of Esquimalt during a sea training trials and exercises on February 20, 2012.
Victoria is at sea and conducting dives as part of her operational cycle and Dived Safety phase of her Tiered Readiness Program.  Victoria will be authorized to fire torpedoes, her crew certified and declared fully operational in 2012.

Canada's submarine fleet is scheduled to achieve full operational capability in 2013; at which point Canada will have three of four submarines available for operations, including a high readiness submarine available in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
