Motion Media Design Techniques II
For this project, we were asked to apply an art movement or style to any subject we wanted. I collaborated with Christopher Mennuto to create a title sequence for the Japanese film Tokyo Zombie. Our style borrowed loosely from old pulp magazine covers, which featured highly exaggerated imagery and bold typography. The film itself, which contains awkward, crude, and often unintelligent humor, blends with this style appropriately.
