Merb 0.4 will include generators (via RubiGen) to make it uber-easy for developers to create Merb apps. Here’s a HOWTO screencast (lifted from rubyconf talk) on getting the required gems from SVN, and setting up a Merb to use ActiveRecord.

fortyseventeen 8 months agoSweetness. Nice, DRY generators. Kinda confusing, though, that script/generate doubles as the config file for choosing testing frameworks. -
fortyseventeen 8 months agoOh, I get it...it just calls the same generators as they appear in different scopes, like rspec vs test_unit. Hmm, I guess I'll just have to get used to that.
