This is a talk I gave at GCAP in 2008. The Topic was on the benefits of teaching artists to code and how that can help teams during game development. Along the way I show some of my own work and introduce processing.

The slides for the talk are available on my blog here

Well XSI is pretty uncommon in the games industry. Although with the Autodesk purchase I am hopefull that things may turn around. Personally I really like XSI. But it is proving a little difficult to find a place to work that needs an XSI tools specialist.

oh sorry.. i am sure your right, that was merely an observation.

there are 6 guys at blur that do tools for XSI, i personally enjoyed your talk.

That's great news. I've always been a big blur fan, you guys have done some really awesome work and the blur plugins have saved my arse more than once.
