A collaboration with Deborah Schamoni and made possible by the generous support of Deitch Projects, new York. The film was made as a part of the exhibition 'Chicks on Speed, It's Product!' April 2004.
"The Gallery on wooster street became a factory, a hive of activity. Piles of fabrics, screen printing, a stage was being constructed, video was being edited and screened from the previous day of shooting, then we all suddenly were needed out in the street, the light was just right...."
The Chicks do not need to fit into anything existing, they land on a Brooklyn roof top and make their way through the maze of the metropolis, eccentrics taking a step deeper into the every day interaction then the freak level often experienced by the artist in relation to society.
