i just saw your other video, and followed it to this. I can't believe you guys did Maiden of Death!

This was my favorite grindhouse finalist, and I was shocked you didn't win.

    You guys are incredibly talented.

    Thanks.

We were always sure we were gonna lose, at the time we caught tons of flack for not having any "film damage" or being Grindhouse enough, whatever that means. We grew up in the 80's, so we figured our Grindhouse was those direct-to-video exploitation movies. Those sound like sour grapes about the experience, but that couldn't be further from the truth. it was great. We did the trailer to have fun, and anything else was just gravy.

oh, btw, I watched your short "white, red, panic", great short.

thanks a lot Dan. appreciate that.

Yeah, that's the vibe I got. It felt like something I would've done as my "version" of grindhouse, which is why I dug it so much.

Everytime I see this I think I'd KILL to see this as a feature film. The Graphic Novel vibe especially. I'd love to go to a movie where a girl had Saw Blade built into her guitar, and that didn't have to make too much sense.

It's almost like The Crow meets Exploitation meets Graphic Novels.

Anyway, I really dig your style sir. What's next for you guys? Whatever it may be, I look forward to it immensely, and wish you all the best of luck.

I'd TOTALLY see this movie... I can't believe you didn't win!! I'd ascribe it to blatant favoritism on the part of the judges.

Niiiice voice over, haha. Needed more cheesy one-liner descriptors. I do particularly like "symphony of exit wounds" though. :)
