Sunset skiing on my favourite ski touring mountain Baranec (2184 m) which is located above Ziarska valley in the West Tatras just 10-minute drive from my hometown Liptovsky Mikulas. The mountain is famous for its beautiful views of Liptov region and all five highest mountain ranges in Slovakia. I started to ski from the summit at cca 16:50. The snow was not good on that day (mostly icy crust and windpacked snow) so I chose relatively easy SW line to ski.
