almost every July 4th my friend mike does his "rocket man" routine. what is it? Well, it goes something like this: mike puts on this leather suit, fireworks get duct taped to his bike and helmet.

when it gets dark, the johnny cash song ring of fire blasts from the car speakers as mike rides his bike up & down the street. you can't believe the crowds that show up.

it's become a traditional part of the 4th. it started as a whim back in college and every year he swears it's his last "rocket man".......but we all hold out hope that he'll do it just one more time.
