Rabbi Reuven Leuchter, is a leading expert in the field
of religious personality dynamics and is one of Israel’s most popular lecturers on spiritual growth and
fulfillment. Born in Lucerne, Switzerland, and educated in mathematics and philosophy at the
University of Zurich, Rabbi Leuchter continued his studies in several Jerusalem academies of Jewish
Studies, and became the primary disciple of the late Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe, the renowned expert on
religious thought and child rearing. Rabbi Leuchter has authored several books in Hebrew on prayer,
spirituality, and self-help, and has published annotated commentaries on the major volumes of Rabbi
Israel Salanter and Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, the 19th century leaders of the Lithuanian yeshiva
movement. A former lecturer at Van Leer Institute of Social Research in Jerusalem, Rabbi Leuchter
has served as Spiritual Mentor at Hevron Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and continues to lecture weekly – in
five languages – to hundreds of regular students and thousands of listeners worldwide.
