When you mix chilled water over "real" absinthe you get a milky white clouding effect named the "Louche"
Here's a fine Absinthe being prepared with requisite spoon and sugar cube.
Shot in 720p with a Panasonic Lumix LX3.
Lit by a few 50w halogen spots and a Bright White LED as backlight.
Color effects posted in After Effects with Magic Bullet "Looks" and various color correction tools in After Effects.
Final output was time stretched with Twixtor at 75%
