I was asked by Jon Dix of HPX to co-create the live visuals for Radiohead's Hail to the Thief tour. Our goal was to do a low-cost, effective, and creative imag (image magnification) system for the shows. We were also asked to give it a "security camera" look as "national security" was a recurring theme in the album. I designed the camera and mixing system and ran the rig with Jon for the entire tour. We contracted Randy Jones from Cycling 74 to make some custom waveform generators with Jitter. XL Video provided the LED screens. We did shows in the USA, Canada, Japan, UK, EU, and Australia.
These are pictures from the tour. Included are shots of the crew, the stage, and some pics from the camera feeds. I am still trying to locate some good video excerpts from the shows and will try and post that down the road.
