This started out as another Creative Vado HD/Flip Mino HD side by side comparison. But I got kind of engrossed in the creative challenge of building an interesting little video object out of my footage and it soon became a Final Cut Express exercise instead.

I have this exact same footage shot with the Mino. If you're interested in another comparison between the two cameras, well, the Mino video is a little bit better, but not triumphantly so. The choice comes down to superior video, audio, and low-light performance (Mino) or greater built-in video capacity, a wider-angle lens, and a larger screen (Vado).
