1. Sony HXR-MC1 Test Footage

I just took a short video from the roof or my apartment building overlooking alcatraz. I didn't change a thing on the camera. Just took it out of the box, put a battery in and started recording.
I'm 4 blocks away from the water and zoomed in with the wide angle adapter on the camera. I think the quality of this looks amazing and I can't wait to get some flying footage this weekend with it.
The hardest part was getting it into Final Cut and then figuring out how to export it. Apparently "compressor" doesn't like AVCHD converted to ProRes 422. Additionally, I need to do a little reading on all of this.
