Web 101 for Designers: What you should know before your first site (part 3 of 3)
I gave this talk to a group of about 40 Creative Professionals at the monthly meeting of the Twin Cities Creatives' Group that I am a part of. The talk lasted 1hr 40mins, so it's certainly long. I've broken the screencast/video into three parts to allow for uploading and manageability.
In part 3, I show two designs and their implementation in at least 9 browsers and what the differences and similarities are; I go over what a content management system is and what I think makes a good one, and I give a quick outline of Drupal; I also give some humble advice and make some summary conclusions.

Ten Seven
8 months ago For the record, I say at one point that Camino and Safari use the same layout engine: this is in fact wrong. Camino uses Mozilla's Gecko engine, and of course, Safari uses WebKit. I say this nonsense at about 12:36. Sorry.
