Hiking up to the edge of the crater of the spectacular Lokon volcano near my parent's house. The crater was especially active this day with tons of steam spewing out from the rocks inside the crater.

Since I'm on a really slow internet connection, I reduced the quality of this clip a bit, but it should still be quite good.

That was really cool ! And another cool thing (to me anyway) it's 2:31AM in Cincinnati, Ohio, 2:31PM in Indonesia according to wunderground.com - or probably a 24 hour flight away from Indonesia and I'm already watching what Daniel did for lunch.... Thanks for sharing Daniel ! I hope the rest of your vacation goes as great as this video. And I just learned Indonesia is just below the equator, and probably a great place to spend Northern winters... any comments from you parents living as ex-patriots?

Hi there. Thanks for the comment. Yes, it's a great place to be in the winter if you want warmth. At the coast it can be downright hot, but up in the mountains like this it's quite cool (but not cold). My parents enjoy living there a lot.
