This clip was shot on the area of the UNESCO world heritage "Zeche Zollverein". I spent one saturday afternoon with my Canon 550D, the Sony NEX 5N and the motorized pocketslider at this place. All timelapses were done with the internal intervalometer by Magic Lantern which is very useful when using a motorized slider (one connection less). All film scenes were shot with the Sony NEX in 1080p50 and afterwards interpreted as 25p.
I used the 18-55 kitlense for most of the scenes. The timlapses were shot with the Tokina 11-16 f2.8.
It was a beautiful afternoon and running around with all this equipment helped to get in touch with people in some way. So one photographer stopped as he walked by and we talked about techniques, Magic Lantern and the slider.
This clip is meant to give you an impression of this beautiful area. Of course there is much more to see, but for some areas you have to pay a fee and it's difficult to get in when running around with a tripod, slider etc. :)
