Craig Hammer of the World Bank Institute gives an overview of the Nairobi DataBootcamp that was held for the First Time In Africa between 25th and 27th, January, 2012.

The Nairobi DataBootcamp brought together over 70 journalists and 30 application developers at Strathmore University.

The convenors of the Bootcamp included The World Bank Institute, The African Media Initiative and the Kenya Open Data Initiative. Trainers came from various organisations including Google, BBC, etc.
