Litescape is a project I've been working on with Roger Goldsbrough, Piers Ridyard, Stuart Fisher and Albert Hwang for the last 2 years now.

An array of vertical strips in known positions sit within the projectors field of view.
The vertical strips are arranged so that they each one is visible from at least one projector.
The projectors can therefore project to any part of any one of the strips.
By highlighting the correct region of strips, 3D objects are rendered volumetrically in real space.
