Stop Motion Ad
This is a stop motion tv ad I co-produced, directed and animated for a home improvement company based in Quebec.
As the product wasn't too "sexy" to sell, the agency wanted to use stop motion animation technique in order to pop-out form their competitor CGI based ads and add an edgy/artsy feeling to it.
We used an animation software to animate the piece and the main challenge here was to make sure the hands look alive and animated. I'm actually quite glad of the result as the piece is clean but also somehow quirky.

8 months ago you got it right: it's all fun work using cardboard and scissor... a few hours of pleasure and pain! took like 8 hours to cut everything within 3-4 persons. -
