Mitch Seavey in Elim said he's been frustrated by questions about the competition between the former champion and his son, 2012 Iditarod frontrunner Dallas. In a way, it's a heartbreak, Seavey said, because he's been racing to win but would normally be on the sidelines cheering for his son.
"He's got it sewn up if he does what he knows how to do, and that's run dogs," Seavey says.
