Birds of Prey

Roughcut performance edit.

The skies above the Marin Headlands were once filled with the looming presence of an arsenal of nuclear tipped missiles. Hidden beneath the landscape, they sat, waiting for their moment, ready to be launched across the seas. In the fall season, sharing the same skies, spiralling on the thermals, are the birds of prey, passing through on their annual migration routes. Now, something other, an autonomous drone, drifts between them. A new weapon, of intrigue, menace and mystery. The air is thick and full.

Filmed on location at the Marin Headlands Nike Missile Silo.
