Grateful Dead cover band The Kind brought its 26th anniversary celebration to The Pine Tavern near Floyd, Virginia, on Saturday, March 10 and the fans literally rocked the Pavilion, which meant a real challenge in getting a steady video of the group's performance. The outdoor pavilion shook from the energetic movement of dancers, since the dance moves of some consisted of jumping up and down on a creaking wooden floor. With two of the three camera tripod-mounted, the movement was obvious on the clips. After Affects eliminated most of the jerkiness from the floor. And an enthusiastic but inebriated fan kept using the stage front as a makeshift drum set, twice knocking the field recorder to the floor.
Shot with a Canon 5D MKII, Panasonic AG-HMC80 and a Sony 560V. Sound recorded on a Tascam DR40 Field Recorder. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5..
