Hour money is issued debt, and usury free for sustainability. Federal Reserve notes are based on compounding debt and therefore un-sustainable!
This local barter money system is based on voluntary initiative to make the world a better place. There a ZERO costs for local, independent businesses which agree to accept the currency.
In FACT each business which agrees to join the voluntary co-operative will be given 4Hours($40). Those businesses will then refer to the Hour Directory to see where the barter money can be spent.
Over time more businesses will join, and more money issued with each sign-up. The co-operative will vote on rules for issuing more currency into circulation.
