This video documents an event put on by the Seattle Experimental Animation Team on March 1st, 2012 at Zeitgeist Coffee in Seattle, WA. Part of the Pioneer Square Art Walk, animations were projected onto two windows, one wall, one hanging screen and four kites. This was also the premiere of a collective film made originally for this event in the Exquisite Corpse style by seven animators: Otto Bulut, Webster Crowell, Stefan Gruber, Salise Hughes, Tess Martin and Eric Ostrowski. Each animator selected a slip of a paper from a hat, designating the start and end images of their segment of the piece. From there, they had one month to animate a short film. These were then compiled and projected at this event. Music has been added to this online version, though the original version is silent. Music is “The School for Scandal” by Samuel Barber. Performed by the Garfield High School Orchestra in 1997.
