Have been following your comments/actions; you are saying great things. Like many small rural districts (and schools), yes, we're struggling; but determined to make necessary improvements (SC challenges not withstanding). For example, I'm 60+working/ teaching/motivating middle & high school students to gain/enhance forward thinking visions about career preparation and possibilities. Especially STEM, and especially Engineering ("E") which encompasses the other components --- and my AEC specialty. SC State Superintendent Jim Rex, is on track with the Palmeto Priority School (PPS) program for failing schools. We need to hear more from you (your office) here at the local level. We'll be starting a 21st CCLC educational enrichment program this June.
Please have someone from your office make contact; or better, please provide a contact I might reach at your office (preferrable you or a direct assistant) -- email, phone, etc. Thank you immensely.
