In this tutorial, Tim Clapham from helloluxx.com takes you step by step through the process of building an align to spline expression using Cinema4D and Xpresso.
The advantage of this set up over the built in expression is that the position along the spline is not clamped between 0-100%, therefore the object can be looped along the spline multiple times. Tim also adds a tangential option with a parameter that allows you to define the axis used for alignment.
