Each performance of La Fura dels Baus is an event. Cinema, opera, theatre and urban interventions: the original and non-conformist imagination of the Catalans frees itself of genres to invent worlds in keeping with our times.
With this new production of György Ligeti's Grand Macabre – one of the major opera works of the 20th century – they teach us to remain faithful to the outrageousness, audacity and poetry of Hieronymus Bosch and Peter Brueghel.
