Excerpts from the performances by the KINODANCE Company, a Boston-based interdisciplinary artist collaborative established in 1999 by choreographer/dancer Alissa Cardone, filmmaker Alla Kovgan and visual artist Dedalus Wainwright. KINODANCE creates intermedia and expanded cinema performance, installations and films. KINODANCE's work has been supported by the Bank of America Celebrity Series, ICA (Boston), New England Foundation for the Arts, LEF Foundation and others. Critics describe KINODANCE performances as “stunning”, "mesmeric", “…a daring and dramatically theatrical experience”, “…a breathtaking synthesis of live and filmed dance”. In 2008, KINODANCE was selected as one of Dance Magazine’s “25 To Watch”.
