17. Don't Follow My Line

Roebling Road race course, Savannah, GA
Following a Porsche 924 that is taking some "different" lines around Roebling. I make a comment after he takes an early apex into turn 5, "Oh Ya! I can see that you wouldn't like that...". Slowing up there for the 924 allowed the Silver Z06 to catch up rapidly and I gave him a point by. One lap later the Z06 follows the 924 on the same early apex line in turn 5... and promptly finds the sand.

Scott Perkins 8 months agoI wouldn't call that an early apex. I'd call it a "where's the apex".
