The Fall Trees - "Around the Yellow Sun"

We filmed this on a Monday in Redondo Beach. I needed an example to show other bands what I was trying to do, so who better than ourselves? Plus we had to work out some kinks as far as filming and setting up the sound. The idea was simple and I think we all had a great time with it, although of course the day we planned it the neighbors decided to refinish their hardwood floors, which meant we pretty much crammed the whole session in during their lunch and periodic breaks. Hopefully we don't look frustrated.

We did four songs that day. Allen is the guy with the beard and Greek fisherman's hat, and Caitlin and I are on the couch (Caitlin usually plays bass). Our good friend Dustin helped us with the camera work, and our good friend Johann was kind enough to lend us his microphone. Also extra special thanks to the guys at Ocean Studios in Venice (Brent & AO) for lending the cameras, without whom this would not have been possible at all. Okay, this isn't an award speech, but it is turning into a bit of a ramble.
