On Sunday18th March the clouds rolled away for the first time for days. What better place to visit than the parkland at Ross Priory, Gartocharn, on the south eastern bank of Loch Lomond. The Priory, one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in Scotland, is now the University of Strathclyde's Recreational and Conference Centre. However, anyone can enjoy a stroll round the 200 acre estate, with unrivalled views of the Loch, Ben Lomond and the surrounding hills.
