SSS year 12 Drama - Stop the Traffik

STOP THE TRAFFIK is a global movement of ordinary activists from around the world who believe that people should not be bought and sold. One million to STOP THE TRAFFIK, the latest play by English playwright MarkWheeller, tells the amazing story of the development of this global movement.

Contemporary in form and style, the script uses the words of Phil Lane (co-founder of STOP THE TRAFFIK) and testimony from trafficked people around the world. It explores some of the stories which inspired the birth of the movement, and reveals their determination to get the one million signatures they promised which would enable them to go to the United Nations and call on governments to fight trafficking.
