1. My World, My View photo project, Nepal
2 years ago
A glimpse into the UK charity Asha Nepal's photography project with disadvantaged girls from Pokhara.
Photography has proved a valuable tool for encouraging self-expression and building self-esteem. The girls' photos were so captivating and vibrant that they were made into a book, My World, My View, available from asha-nepal.org.

Here, project leader, photojournalist and Asha Nepal trustee Sue Carpenter asks some of the 22 participants, aged 6 to 17, about the injustices facing girls in Nepal, and how they would like to use photography to spread awareness of these issues.
